Nice to Meet You
We are a small group of committed believers that are tired of focusing on what this world has to offer.
The world seems divided at every level and groups are constantly being pitted against each other. We hope that you find this site as refreshing as a cool spring of water in a desert place.
With the leading of the Holy Spirit, we hope to provide a refuge from the stormy seas that surround you and also to provide a solid rock, the Word of God, on which you can securely stand.
Our beliefs
Our beliefs at Rock & Refuge can be summed up in the well known “Romans Road.”
For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
But God commandeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:13
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ… Romans 5:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1
The Challenge
We encourage you to stay in His Word and meditate in it day and night. Do not only rely on others, alone, to feed you. You have the ability to pick up the Word yourself to consume.
Do not starve yourself spiritually. There is no limit to how much of the Word you can ingest, however, He does require us to “do”, obey, and proclaim His Word.
You have a spiritual superfood at your fingertips. Cultivate an appetite for His Word and watch how it helps you to grow, increase your energy, and live the abundant life that is described in Scripture. Live your spiritual and physical life to the fullest, just as He designed.
